We have a VERY generous Pet Project supporter (who also happens to have a Pet Project alumni), who has pledged to pay the adoption fee for the cat and dog that has been at the shelter the longest. Both Shelby (Shelly Belly) and Benjamin (Zen Ben) came in about the same time, so the adoption fee will be waived for whichever one gets adopted first. All three of these amazing animals came to the shelter the summer of xxxx. Let's make this the year they finally find their forever homes which they so rightly deserve. This handsome guy is Benjamin, a 2 year old American Staffordshire mix. Benjamin is just too cute for words. A very sweet, outgoing, playful young dog. However not hyper at all. Benjamin is already well behaved at such a young age and would make a great companion and friend for anyone. He walks great on a leash and will sit very nicely for treats. A very lovable and social dogs with people but will have to be the only pet. The adoption fee for dogs is $200 for adult dogs and $225 for puppies. This fee includes a test for heartworm and a fecal test. All of the dogs at Pet Project are tested and examined by a veterinarian before they arrive at the shelter. The adoption fee also includes vaccinations, microchip and spay or neuter.
